Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Inhouse Consultant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP PP, with excellent functional knowledge of how PP integrates with other logistics modules and SAP PP interfaces. This role requires someone who is not only technically proficient but also eager to get involved in both strategic projects and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the roll-out of SAP PP to a new location, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption.
- Customize and configure SAP PP to meet specific business requirements and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other logistics modules such as MM, SD, and QM.
- Provide expert support for SAP PP interfaces, ensuring data consistency and reliability across systems.
- Participate in the global SAP S/4HANA implementation project, contributing to the design, testing, and deployment phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PP, providing hands-on support and guidance to end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in SAP PP within the manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in German, with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and end-users.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP PP and its integration with other logistics modules (MM, SD, QM).
- Experience with SAP MES is a significant advantage, or a keen interest in learning SAP MES.
- Proven ability to customize and configure SAP PP to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in leading SAP PP projects, from initial requirements gathering to go-live and support.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
