About the Role:
Seeking a passionate and innovative Cloud Security Architect to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and resilience of our cloud infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures, with a focus on Azure.
- Security Engineering: Develop and implement security controls, including network security groups, micro-segmentation, VPNs, and ExpressRoute connections.
- Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment: Conduct threat modeling exercises, identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities through proactive testing and continuous monitoring.
- SDLC Integration: Integrate security best practices throughout the entire SDLC, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your expertise in security tools and technologies, such as ZAP, and API gateways.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams, operations, and security engineers.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security practices.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as ZAP, and API gateways.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1
