Project Manager/Service Delivery Manager – 6 months + multiple extensions
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client and Project Manager to join our team. This role requires someone who can effectively manage multiple work streams, lead diverse teams, and deliver successful project outcomes in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, process improvement, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related cybersecurity domains is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Planning & Delivery: Develop and oversee detailed project plans, managing multiple work streams, resources, and priorities to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness across projects.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Create, develop, and lead cross-functional teams; foster collaboration and accountability to achieve shared goals.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects remain within financial parameters while delivering value.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Operate effectively under pressure, quickly adapt to changing circumstances, and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate the ability to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes quickly, applying knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Client Manager, ideally within IT, digital transformation, or cybersecurity environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of an organization.
- Experience in budget and resource management with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
- Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management) or cybersecurity concepts is strongly preferred.
- A proactive, hands-on leader who takes ownership of initiatives and drives them through to completion.
- Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to work up to 3 days per week at our North Carolina office
